Archipelago and Parcel of Abrolhos:
Dec/2009 – first harmonization made in a region with high coral reefs incidence.Abrolhos is considered as the most important coral reefs region in the South Atlantic Ocean. The region was severely affected by climate change in the 1993/1994 period and generated coral bleaching at a level of 50% to 90% of the colonies. Later in the period 1998/2005 occurrences were lighter with 10% bleached coral.
The recognition in the region was done by steps with dives in the following points:
1. Portinho South – right side Biotic recorded zero to +30
2. Portinho South – left side(Night)
3. Shore of the Lighthouse Biotic recorded zero to +40
4. Chapeiroes of Southeastern West Biotic recorded zero to +40
5. Mato Verde (Night)
6. Shipwreck Guadiana Biotic recorded zero to +40
7. Lingua da Siriba / West Costela Biotic recorded zero to +40
8. Chapeiroes Atoba Biotic registered stable in +100, Was measured after the harmonization
9. Lingua da Siriba Biotic registered stable in +100, Was measured after the harmonization

In a few months (6 to 12) in the region harmonized may begin to emerge some improvement in the recovery of bleached corals or sick and the resilience raising against the bleaching phenomenon.
We believe that in 24 to 30 months should be visible the resistance, tolerance and resilience in the corals of the region when compared with other regions as Itacolomis, Timbebas, Parcel das Paredes and other in Bahia Southern.
The Santa Barbara Island also was fully harmonized by neutralization of electromagnetic radiation from high voltage and Beta radioactivity.
